Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Eddy County, New Mexico. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Rotating shifts.
