Hydraulic crane operator • Allegany County, Maryland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Allegany County, Maryland. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Six days a week, one day off.
