Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Del Norte County, California. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
