We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Knox County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
