Vacuum press operator — Elkhart County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Elkhart County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
