Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Costilla County, Colorado. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
