Rebar fixer wanted in Bamberg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Bamberg County, South Carolina. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
