Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural stone fabricator in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching 6+ years on the tools preferred.
