Vacancy available: we are hiring an insulation installer in Santa Clara County, California. The job is at a busy building site. Day-to-day duties: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness You should have: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Rotating shifts.
