Gas commissioning technician • Herkimer County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Herkimer County, New York. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Your main tasks: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred.
