Occupational health and safety officer — Bradford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bradford County, Florida. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
