Urgent requirement: vertical milling machine operator (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Bureau County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On the job you will handle: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
