Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Hansford County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting Ideal candidate: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists 3+ years on the tools preferred.
