Civil works labourer wanted in Newton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Newton County, Arkansas. You will be based with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Your main tasks: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
