We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Union County, Iowa. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
