Civil works labourer • Kankakee County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
