Brick mason wanted in Bedford

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Bedford, England. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
