Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
