You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
