Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Wheeler County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off.
