Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Genesee County, Michigan. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
