Toolroom milling operator wanted in Hood River County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Hood River County, Oregon. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
