Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains.
