Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Blackburn with Darwen, England. Your main tasks: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Meals and transport allowance provided.
