Urgent requirement: tower crane operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience.
