Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in Clarke County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day 5+ years on the tools preferred.
