Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Your main tasks: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
