Retail butcher wanted in West Dunbartonshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled 2+ years on the tools preferred.
