Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Vilas County, Wisconsin. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
