Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Gilpin County

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Gilpin County, Colorado. The role involves building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
