Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A good head for heights and steady balance You will carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; insulate and ventilate the roof void.
