Urgent requirement: stamping press operator (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will work at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; record output and downtime on the production sheet; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
