Site safety steward — Wise County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Wise County, Texas. You will work at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions On a typical shift you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
