Aluminium tig welder — Hays County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Hays County, Texas. You will work on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
