Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
