Steel erection rigger • Durham County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Durham County, North Carolina. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
