Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Mississippi County, Missouri. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
