We are recruiting: fabricator-welder (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Defiance County, Ohio. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
