Concrete placer wanted in Wilkes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Wilkes County, Georgia. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Day-to-day duties: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
