Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Calhoun County, Illinois. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
