Fabricator-welder wanted in Hertfordshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hertfordshire, England. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
