Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Rappahannock County, Virginia. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
