Cnc lathe setter • Nelson County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Nelson County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
