Earthmoving plant operator • Berrien County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Berrien County, Michigan. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
