Building site helper • Winneshiek County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a building site helper in Winneshiek County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day On the job you will handle: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Six days a week, one day off.
