Vacancy available: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Oxford County, Maine. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day The role involves apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
