Brick and block layer — Transylvania County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Transylvania County, North Carolina. You will be based on a new-build development. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
