Now hiring: milling machine operator (Plateau State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Wase, Plateau State. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
