Join our team: metal caster (Idaho)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Jerome County, Idaho. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience.
