Skimming plasterer • Allamakee County, Iowa

Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Allamakee County, Iowa. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
